Meet the Band!
Janelle Kendall - Lead Vocals and Acoustic Guitar
Also rocking in Janelle Kendall's Perfect Storm, Walter's Wheelhouse, the Fifth Avenue Revue's Meat Loaf Tribute, and having joined in on occasion with Justin Ploof and the Throwbacks and Mason Dixon Line, Janelle knows her way around a stage, a rowdy crowd, and big and small venues, playing for hundreds of big and small events across Minnesota. '90s and newer women's country flows out of her like the small town hard-strummin' country-raised girl she is.

Adam Hammer
Vocals, Electric & Acoustic Guitar & Banjo
Adam Hammer is a singer/songwriter from Central Minnesota, with roots in a small town musical family. He sharpened his style through decades of touring, writing and performing with everything from acoustic acts and solo work to rock and punk bands. He also put in time in Nashville where he honed his fingerpicking style and was given the musical label “tattooed folk” by fellow Music City songwriters. The musical melting pot that makes up Hammer’s influences is what makes his sound unique. He found his place early on in rock and alternative music with a splash of punk rock, but he was raised learning the classics like Hank Williams, The Animals, The Mamas and the Papas and John Denver.

Roger Shattuck
Bass Guitar
Roger Shattuck grew up mostly in New Hampshire then enlisted in the Army as a bass guitarist in 1989. He served 23 years active duty with assignments including Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, the 8th Army in South Korea and deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Roger is a studio musician on electric, acoustic and stand up bass as well as plays all genres of music live, having opened for Tim McGraw and Larry the Cable Guy among others, plus backed many pros including Frank Gorshin, The Ink Spots, The Drifters, Sandy Patty, and recently, Tommy Stinson.

Jeff Waldeland
Vocals, Pedal Steel Guitar & Electric Guitar
You will usually find Jeff playing pedal steel, but he'll also come out from behind the bench to play electric guitar, taking off on a Doobie's riff or Shania shredder. We are sayin... '90s and newer country isn't complete without Jeff's level of skill on pedal steel! Jeff is an accomplished stage and studio musician and we're thrilled to have this real country rocker in the band!

Joe Lashinski - Drums & All Things Percussion
Hailing from Holdingford, Minnesota, Joe earned his sticks behind the kit with cover bands like Hat Trick before stepping into the studio and stage spotlight with Midwest originals group 200’ Away. He’s also brought his groove to live and studio projects with Jon Theis Music. Now Thunder Road is glad to have him diving into country, adding two-steppin' chapter to his musical journey.

Carolyn Yaggie-Heinen
Vocals and Aux Percussion
The perfect completion to the big vocal harmonies of this crew, Carolyn's experience grew from folk's popular Random Road and jazzy Shaken Not Stirred to the Meat Loaf tribute huge vocals and the feisty-as-Thunder-Road Perfect Storm. Clear, strong and on the money every time, Carolyn is fun to watch and completes the unique vocal combo that is Thunder Road!
